After years of blissful marriage, a woman cheats on her husband. She begins to pray to God, saying, “Lord, I know what I did was wrong, but my marriage is the only thing that gives my life purpose and joy. Please, don’t let my husband find out.” All of a sudden, she hears a voice from above saying, “Okay, my child, it will be, but on one condition: years from now, you will die by drowning.” The woman hesitates at first, but then replies, “Okay, if it means he won’t find out, then so be it.” The following years of her life are joyful and beautiful.
She develops a prosperous business and lives in comfort with her husband, although she continues to cheat on him numerous times, having forgotten her discussion with God.
She makes the decision to reserve a cruise ship holiday for herself one day.
The cruise ship begins to sink after being rocked by a big BOOM a few days into the journey.
When she suddenly recalls her contract with God, she is overcome with sorrow and starts fervently praying to him once more:
“God, I’m not going to drown a whole cruise ship full of people, am I right?”
She recognizes the voice:
“Are you serious? For years, I have been trying to get all of you cheaters together here.
