For four years, 61-year-old married father Mark Brayan has defied gender expectations by dressing in heels and skirts.
With his impressive work attire, the German manager of a robotics engineer amassed over 73k followers on social media. Mark wants to demonstrate that straight, cisgender guys can be “masculine” while dressing and walking in typically feminine attire.
“I am just a straight, happily married guy that loves Porsches, beautiful women, and incorporating high heels and skirts into my daily wardrobe,” he stated on his Instagram profile.
The father of three insists that his clothing is a means of defying gender stereotypes while being comfortable and stylish, and that it has no bearing on his sexual orientation.
Mark told Metro.co.uk: “Fashion is what motivates me to wear skirts. Comfort. wishing to stand out. I remain the macho parent and husband. Sometimes my daughter even wants to borrow my shoes.
When I started wearing skirts, my coworkers were cool with it. For a while now, I had been wearing heels with my jeans. Thus, it didn’t surprise them,” he stated.
